Located in the scenic Tamba region of Hyogo Prefecture, this exclusive Wagyu farm is part of the birthplace of Tajima cattle — the bloodline behind world-famous Kobe beef. Surrounded by mountains and clean natural water, Tamba provides the ideal environment for raising premium A5 Wagyu. Here, you’ll witness the meticulous care and traditional methods that create Japan’s most celebrated beef, followed by an unforgettable farm-fresh Kobe Wagyu dining experience.

What the Tour Includes

Private pickup is provided directly from your cruise ship in Osaka or Kobe by our English-speaking driver. After the tour, enjoy a smooth and timely return to your ship for a fully seamless shore excursion experience.
We also offer pickup from your hotel in Osaka or Kyoto, with comfortable return transfers arranged after the tour.
The farm is located about 90 minutes from Kyoto or Osaka.

Beef Tasting Experience Full Menu
A Table-Side Journey Through Japan’s Finest Kobe Beef
Choose your preferred dining style—Yakiniku, Shabu-Shabu, or Sukiyaki—and cook each slice of premium beef to perfection at your table. Each course includes 160 grams of top-grade (A5) kobe beef, valued at approximately $250–$380+ at U.S. retail, depending on authenticity and cut quality.
All meals are served with:
- A selection of appetizers
- Steamed rice
- Miso soup
- Dessert
- One beverage
- Choice of tea or coffee
Additional premium meats, beverages, and appetizers are available for à la carte ordering at the table.
Kiwami Yakiniku / Oil-Yaki Course
A refined Japanese grilling method where thinly sliced beef is lightly seared on an oiled iron plate to enhance its natural flavor.
This minimalist approach highlights the purity, tenderness, and quality of the meat, using only subtle seasoning to let the Wagyu speak for itself.
Kiwami Shabu-Shabu Course
An elegant Japanese hot pot experience in which thinly sliced beef and fresh vegetables are gently swished in simmering broth, then dipped into savory sauces.
The name “Shabu-Shabu” comes from the soft swish-swish sound made during cooking.
Sukiyaki Course
A rich and comforting hot pot style where thinly sliced beef is slowly simmered in a sweet and savory soy-based sauce.
Served with raw egg for dipping, adding exceptional depth and silkiness to each bite.
Kid's Meal: Wagyu Hamburg, Sukiyaki, or Beef Stew — each set also includes rice, fresh salad, tsukemono (Japanese pickles), and miso soup.
